Welcome!

Hi y'all!  I am Alisha Satterwhite from Texas!  I started a blog back when my kids were small so that friends and family could keep up with our family.  Once life got busy, I had to put that on hold!  Now, I have decided to start the blog back up again, but it is completely revamped!  I am excited to start blogging about "Busy Me Plus Three" again.

As you can probably tell from my blog header, I am a busy wife, mom, teacher, and lover of Jesus!  I taught 1st grade for 8 years and then stayed home for a couple of years because of some health issues.  During that time, I was able to help out some of my family members who were declining.  I was so glad that I could be there for them.  I also ran a fabric business and opened up a Teachers Pay Teachers store.  During this past summer, we decided to close the fabric business down.  I was going to just substitute, but was offered a second grade position at a brand new school.  I took the job, and I am so glad I did.  I work at a great school with an amazing team of girls!  My husband is a fire fighter with a local fire department and has a great schedule.  He is here to help a lot of the time.  We have been married for over 13 years now, and I could not have been blessed with a more amazing husband and best friend!

My son is now in 3rd grade and loves soccer, drawing, and video games.  My daughter is in 2nd grade and loves animals, arts and crafts, and anything girly!

On this blog, I plan on sharing about all areas of my life...God, family, and teaching! My hopes are that this will be a page to inspire others!  Thank you for checking out my blog, and I can't wait to take see where this journey takes us!
